Just wanted to share some info with everyone. Distraction Burglaries are occurring throughout the county and most are targeting seniors. As of June 1, Altadena has received two reports of distraction burglaries – the first incident involved three male Hispanics in a dark green pickup truck and the second involved a male Caucasian who claimed to be with Southern California Edison, in a white pickup truck. At this time, I’m still trying to verify if the second male was an employee of So. Cal. Ed. And lastly, please be aware of your surroundings and ask individuals for identification if they claim to be representatives of a company.
