- Community: The FilmWorks website has a nice feature on local showbiz guy Russ Fega and the Altadena Community Chest, which takes donations from the film industry and passes it on to worthy local organizations.
- Fundraiser: Don't forget: the Altadena Ale & Wine House, 2329 N. Fair Oaks Ave., is holding a French wine tasting fundraiser for St. Mark's school: tickets are $35 at the door, with seven wine tastings and hos d'oeuvres, 3-6 PM.
