- THE real thing: THE Magazine (which we'd never heard of, but it looks real lush) looks at "50 Innovative Men" from the local area in its latest issue. Notable among the 50: Altadenan Isaac Garcia, co-founder of Central Desktop, "one of the first cloud-based collaboration platforms on the market"; and Mark Lieberman, executive director of the Business Technology Center, which shepherds innovative technology startups to maturity. The website is quite handsome, interactive, and fun.
- Chaney Trail closure: The Forest Service will close the Chaney Trail gate at 6 PM July 4, according to Alice Wessen of the Chaney Trail Firesafe Council.
