The Altadena Library's summer activites this week:
Wild Wonders—Imaginations Gone Wild! on Tues., July 17, 2 PM at the main library and 4 PM at the Bob Lucas Branch Library. Meet extraordinary, imaginary animals come to life! These creatures from our dreams have real live jobs in nature. Meet a binturong, armadillo, gliding phalanger, and more!
And on Friday at 3:30 PM the Summer Movie Extravaganza presents "Big Miracle," the true story of how three whales were rescued from the ice in 1988. Rated PG, the film starts at 3:30 in the main library Community Room.
The Altadena Main Library is at 600 E. Mariposa St., and the Bob Lucas Branch Library is at 2659 N. Lincoln Ave.
