- The Wright stuff: When Kentucky businessman Dale Torock wanted to build an addition to his house, he got his inspiration from Altadena: a home on 1370 Morada Place that looks like a ship's prow, and designed by Lloyd Wright. Torok was so taken by it, he created his own version. The story of the addition is right here.
- Lassie come home: Our Dr. Barkman reports that a study of lost vs. found dogs and cats shows that 93% of lost dogs come home, either on their own or with help, thanks to dogtags and microchips.
