It was the annual shift in power: old members of the town council left and new members came in Tuesday night. Outgoing councilmembers Allan Wasserman, Gino Sund, Tecumseh Shackelford, and Ruth Edwards were honored for their service, as were outgoing executive committee members Sandra Thomas (chair), Okorie Ezieme (vice chair), corresponding secretary Jamie Bissner, recording secretary Greg Middleton, and treasurer Doug Colliflower.
New to the council are Bernardean Broadous (CT 4610), and Reginald Wilkins (CT 4612). Returning councilmembers include Ezieme (CT 4602), Judy Mathews (CT 4610.01, who was originally appointed to fill a vacancy), Thomas (4603.02), and Diane Marcussen (CT 4613). Seats in census tracts 4601 and 4611 have gone vacant, as nobody ran for them in June.

The council also appointed a new executive committee, with Broadous as chair, Bissner as vice-chair, Brent Musson recording secretary, Diane Marcussen corresponding secretary, and Colliflower as treasurer.
