Bo the Rottweiler (whom we've covered previously, here and here) is doing well and is in remission from his canine lymphoma, but treatment continues. Trained Dogs for Adoption will be having another fundraiser yard sale on Saturday, July 28, to help pay for the cost of his chemotherapy.
Trained Dogs for Adoption is a 501(c)3 nonprofit dog rescue organization, founded by Catherine and Tom Peters. Specializing in hard-to-place adult German Shepherds, they will sometimes take on other promising but difficult-to-place dogs. In the case of Bo, he was a long-term resident at the place where they kennel some of their other dogs, and the Peters decided to take him under their wing.
The yard sale will take place Sat., July 28, from 7 AM-noon at 1836 Roosevelt Ave., Altadena. Furniture, clothing, household items, crafts, and baked goods will all be available.
