Now that PUSD is back in session, the Eliot Middle School PTA has announced some important upcoming events:
The first all-parent joint meeting will be held Wed., Sept. 5, 6-8 PM in the Parent Room. All parents and guardians are encouraged to gather on the first Wednesday of the month to hear from the principal and discuss matters of importance to the entire community. individual parent groups (PTA, ELAC, AAPC) meet to take care of group-specific business following the group discussion. Dinner is potluck, and childcare will be provided as needed.
Back to School Night Wed., Sept. 12, 6-8 PM: Parents and guardians only -- meet your child's teachers and find out what is expected. Don't forget to join the PTA.
Fridays, beginning Sept. 14, 8-9 AM: "Coffee & Conversation." Come by the Parent room on Friday mornings for an informal Spanish/English conversation group. English and Spanish learners welcome!
