- Owen Brown's body: We look forward to Owen Brown's marker eventually returning to its rightful place at Little Round Top, but did you know there's been some talk about moving Owen himself? The John Brown Farm in Elba, NY, was trying to drum up support for returning Owen to his ancestral place, especially since the marker was gone and the property owner has been unsupportive, and Owen died without heirs. His 3x grandniece Alice Keesey Mecoy, an historian of the family, makes the case for keeping Owen where he is.
