The LA County Dept. of Parks and Recreation is offering a free field trip to a concert at the John Anson Ford Amphitheatre Saturday, along with free transportation from Loma Alta Park.
"Dustbowl Revival" (bluegrass/jazz music) will be performing in the morning concert at the Ford. Sixty free tickets for the bus and concert will be given out on a first-come, first-served basis Saturday morning at Loma Alta Park, 3300 N. Lincoln Ave. The bus will depart at 8:45 AM, and return to the park at 12:30 PM. All youth must be with at least one parent, and grandparents are welcome.
The event is sponsored by the county Arts Commission, the Community Bridges Program, the Ford Amphitheatre, and the Ford Foundation.
