That helicopter you hear (@3:15 PM today) is a CBS-2 chopper looking for a bear.
The bear was spotted on Skyview Drive, creating a lockdown on the Aveson Charter School campus this afternoon. Children are being released to their parents, and not much more information is currently available.
The Altadena Sheriff's Station says that they looked for but hadn't found the bear.
