The Altadena Town Council will soon release an application for residents who want to be part of the council's subcommittee looking at Altadena's visioning process.
According to council vice-chair Jamie Bissner, the major thrust of the committee will be to look at revisions to the county's Community Standards District for Altadena. The CSD was last revised in 1986.
The committee will include members of the Town Council, the Altadena Chamber of Commerce, and Altadena Heritage. Bissner said they are looking for members with professional expertise in such areas as architecture and real estate.
The committee will be approved by the Town Council, and will meet over a period of about six months to develop recommendations for the council to approve and pass on to county planners.
The application will also be available soon on the town council website (altadenatowncouncil.org) and at the Altadena Community Center, 730 E. Altadena Dr. Applications shoud be submitted to the community center.
