Altadena Heritage presents Altadena resident and frequent LA Times gardening writer Emily Green in a waterwise gardening workshop on Wed., Nov. 7, at 7 PM at the Altadena Community Center, 730 E. Altadena Dr.
Rather than going the full xeriscape route, Green will look at ways to curb water runoff and alternative landscaping for yards and parkways in an effort to save water and keep polluted runoff from local waterways. Admission to the workshop is free.
