At this hour (1 PM), firefighters are still mopping up a structure fire that was reported this morning at 1834 N. Sierra Bonita Ave. in Altadena.
According to a spokesman from the Los Angeles County Fire Department, a tree fire was reported at the location at 10:52 AM this morning. When firefighters arrived two minutes later, they found two trees and the attic of the home were on fire.
The fire was knocked down at 11:14 AM, and the department spokesman said there were no injuries. Cause of the fire is still unknown at this time.
