Día de los Muertos / Day of the Dead is a traditional Mexican holiday when family and friends gather to honor and remember loved ones. Halloween and Day of the Dead activities include construction paper jack o’ lanterns, puppets, Mexican paper flowers, and sugar-skull decorating. Fun for the whole family. Admission is free.
Meanwhile, the Bob Lucas Branch Library, 2659 N. Lincoln Ave. , will have a Halloween day activity: make your own haunted gingerbread house using graham cracker, icing, candy, and your imagination. That will be Wednesday, Oct. 31, starting at 3:30 PM.
