According to Dr. Mark Stibitch, About.com columnist and adjunct professor at the University of California, San Diego School of Medicine, “Relationships are an essential part of health. The body does not function as well as when we are connected to other people.”
On Wednesday, October 24, 2012, MonteCedro®, a planned Episcopal Communities and Services (ECS) Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) in Altadena, will explore what it means to have meaningful relationships and how they can change later in life with Dr. Rita Benasutti, an individual, couple and family psychotherapist.
Whether in a committed relationship or single, Dr. Benasutti will provide seniors and family members in the San Gabriel Valley area with the secrets of having and maintaining great relationships. Additionally, she will address a variety of relationship topics including: keeping the passion alive; building strong friendships; understanding emotions; and developing better communication skills.
The event will be on Wed., Oct. 24, 10 AM at the Altadena Town & Country Club, 2290 Country Club Dr.
Space is limited for this event. To register, please visit www.montecedro.org or call 877-282-1584.
