MonteCedro, a new planned Episcopal Communities and Services (ECS) Continuing Care Retirement Community in Altadena, promotes the importance of brain health during the month of November with two of America’s most renowned brain health experts.
Starting on Thursday, November 8, Dr. David Gobble, Director of Masterpiece Living Academy and Director Emeritus of the Fischer Institute of Wellness and Gerontology, will tell attendees how to identify the 12 risk factors of aging and reduce the brain’s aging process.
On Thursday, November 29, Dr. Paul Nussbaum, an internationally renowned expert in neuroanatomy and author of Save Your Brain, will educate attendees on the five domains - Socialization, Physical Activity, Mental Stimulation, Spirituality/Mediation and Nutrition - that older adults should incorporate into their daily lives to support a healthy brain lifestyle.
