Neighbors Empowering Youth holds e-waste roundups every Saturday from 8 AM to 6 PM at 7 West Mendocino St. in Altadena.
- Most common electronic items are accepted, including:
- Computer Monitors · PC Systems · Stereos · Cell Phones
- Television Sets · Laptops · Printers · Fax Machines
- LCD’s · Copiers · Cameras · Vacuums
- Plasma TV’s · Scanners · VCR’s · DVD Players
- Or any unwanted electronics that plug in or use batteries!
Items not accepted include household batteries, fluorescent light bulbs, glass, wood, or tires.
For more than a dozen years, Neighbors Empowering Youth has served the Northwest Pasadena/Altadena area with distinction, helping to bring hope to underserved youth ages 13-18 by bridging the digital divide. Partnering with the Pasadena Unified School District, foundations and local nonprofit service organizations, Neighbors Empowering Youth has also served the broader community by providing technology and training to low income families.
