5:15: We have a report of some shots fired, sheriffs are apparently checking out different locations, hence the chopper traffic. We're monitoring the scanner and checking out what's going on -- what do you see on the street?

5:20: Altadena station says they're setting up a containment, but don't have a location -- they refer us to the watch commander, who's a little busy right now ...

5:38: Per scanner: they have given out a suspect's name, cell phone #, we're not repeating it.
6:10 Per scanner, they've identified the suspect, and are seeking him out right now.
