Kanan Traub, 18, of Altadena was arrested today as the suspected shooter in the incident that cordoned off an Altadena neighborhood from Tuesday afternoon through Wednesday morning (earlier story here).
According to a press release from the Sheriff's Department, deputies located and arrested Traub today without incident at about Lincoln Avenue and Ventura Street. Traub was booked at Crescenta Valley Station on charges of negligent discharge of a firearm and possession of a loaded concealed firearm. The press release said he is scheduled to appear in Pasadena Superior Court on Friday. He is being held in custody in liu of $35,000 bail.
The sheriff's headquarters bureau said they will issue the booking photo soon.
