Altadena’s New Heart Foursquare Church announces its much anticipated premier annual event Spirit Life Conference to be held on October 26, 27 and 28, 2012. This year the theme is “Running to Win the Prize – Staying On Course”. The conference will provide essential strategies for achieving victory in life through spiritual ‘fitness’.
The keynote speaker will be internationally acclaimed teacher Burt Smith, Senior Pastor of Church of Living Water in Olympia, Washington. Pastor Burt and his wife, Jan, have been in the Christian ministry for over 38 years. They pioneered and pastored Little Country Church in Redding, California, which grew from seven families to 5,900 members, built a Christian day school and high school.
Burt Smith has a unique way of taking complex concepts and making them understandable, useful, practical, and attainable. He is known for his ability to motivate people to excel in their God-given gifts, calling and abilities. His commitment to training and mobilizing Christian leaders makes him a much favored speaker at Christian leadership seminars and conferences nationwide.
The Spirit Life Conference starts on Fri., Oct. 26, at 7 PM; Sat., Oct. 27, at 6 PM: and two sessions Sun., Oct. 28, at 10:30 AM and 6 PM.
During the conference, all children are welcome at Spirit Life 4 Kids! featuring Linda Richey, TV’s Tia Linda with her puppet Miguelito the Lion. Linda Richey is an internationally recognized teacher with a special gift for teaching the love of Jesus Christ.
