Two items of interest from the Altadena Ale & Wine House, a member of the Altadenablog sponsor team:
1 The Ale House made the LA Weekly's "Best of LA 2012" list, as the "Best Place to Drink With Smart People." The same folks who steer the Curiosity rover on Mars come by for a drink, as well as apparently folks involved in "Marketplace" for NPR, and the artistic souls who keep Altadena interesting.
2. It's time to nimble up your fauxetry skills as the Ale House will host its third annual LA Limerick Festival on Dec. 12 (that's 12/12/12). Co-sponsored by Nail Soup Productions, there's only room for 100 participants. Steve Julian of KPCC will be one of many honored guests attending this year's event. Stay tuned for more details.
