We have info on two cats away from home:
Kelly, who lives in the President Streets neighborhood, says "my cat has been missing since yesterday and she requires thyroid medication daily. She is about ten years old, brown and black blotchy coat, slender build, long hair, white paws and white tuft on her chest. My contact numbers are
626.794.6500 (home) and
323.328.0602 (cell).
And Karen writes:
My cat's name is Mix and she's been missing since Sep 25. She's a very small Calico cat (orange, black and white). She's an indoor cat that fell outside in a freak accident when the screen fell out of the window as she was leaning against it. I had just gone to bed and was half asleep. I didn't realize what had happened soon enough to make it outside to rescue her.
I hired a pet detective and the scent trail led up Crestford, around Florecita Cresent, back to Florecita Drive and then through the gate onto Canyon Crest. The scent was lost a few yards down Canyon Crest heading towards the Meadows.
If anyone has seen her or knows someone who rescued her, I can be contacted at 626-398-8732.
UPDATE 10/11: Kelly's cat, Kizmit, has been found:
After nearly three painful days of hearing faint untraceable cries from a cat near by, the cries were eventually heard by the neighbor whose garage attic she had gotten stuck in, as she is an avid mouser but not the most agile. She (Kizmit) is safe at home with us finally and all is well, Thank you Timothy Rutt and all those that read the Altadenablog.
