The Weizmann Day School at the Pasadena Jewish Temple will celebrate its ninth annual Daniel Pearl World Music Day Concert this Friday, Oct. 12, starting at 11 AM.
The concert honors the memory and legacy of the reporter-musician Pearl, a Wall Street Journal reporter who was killed by Islamists in Pakistan in 2002.
Performing on the cross-cultural musical tribute are children from Weizmann, St. Mark's School, and New Horizons School.
The concert will be at the Galpert Sanctuary, 1434 N. Altadena Drive. Admission is free. For more information, call 626-797-0204.
