Heartbreaking story, this. Reader Dan emails:
While walking our dogs, we noticed an abandoned cat at a house that has been foreclosed. The cat is very friendly. If you walk up to the house, it runs up to the front door waiting to be let in. We've been feeding it (along with some other neighbors) for the last week waiting for the owners to come get it. It's been a week, so I think this poor guy's on his own. If anyone is interested, go by the house, the cat is usually near the front porch.
