ACONA announces speakers for Nov. 27 meeting: traffic, fire safety

Elliot Gold at ACONA (Altadena Coalition of Neighborhood Associations) has announced the agenda and speakers for the next meeting, Nov. 27 at the Altadena Main Library, 600 E. Mariposa St., from 7-8:30 PM;

1. Traffic: Paul Barbe, Civil Engineer with the Traffic and Lighting Division of LA County, will discuss traffic issues in Altadena 
2. Highway Patrol: Captain Steven Strull of the California Highway Patrol will also discuss issues related to traffic in Altadena from an enforcement standpoint 
3. Fire Safety: Stephanie English, Community Services Liaison for Division III  Fire Station 73 of the Los Angeles County Fire Department will cover fire safety, especially with the Santa Ana winds about to come about. ACONA have also invited Jay Lopez, who is with the Fire Department, who lives in Altadena.
