The Altadena Coalition of Neighborhood Associations (ACONA) meets tonight, and it's about streets, traffic, and fire:

Traffic: Paul Barbe, Civil Engineer with the Traffic and Lighting Division of LA County, will discuss traffic issues in Altadena
Highway Patrol: Captain Steven Strull of the California Highway Patrol will also discuss issues related to traffic in Altadena from an enforcement standpoint, and promises to bring a "team" with him to answer your traffic questions.
Fire Safety: Stephanie English, Community Services Liaison for Division III Fire Station 73 of the Los Angeles County Fire Department will cover fire safety, especially with the Santa Ana winds about to come about. ACONA have also invited Jay Lopez, who is with the Fire Department, who lives in Altadena.

ACONA meets tonight, Nov. 27, at the Altadena Main Library, 600 E. Mariposa St., from 7-8:30 PM.
