ACTS (Altadena Congregations Together Service) will hold an ecumenical service of Thanksgiving on Sun., Nov. 18, from 7-8 PM at the Altadena Baptist Church, 791 E. Calavaras St.
Dorothy Nelson, senior judge of the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals and Chair and founder of the Western Justice Center Foundation will be the guest speaker.
Clergy and congregations from Altadena area religious organizations will participate in the service, which is free to the public. There will be a voluntary offering of money or canned goods which will benefit the Altadena Food Pantry.
