The Caltech-Occidental Concert Band is having a free concert this Friday, Nov. 16, covering everybody from Back to the Beatles.
The concert starts at 8 PM at Ramos Auditorium on the Caltech campus.
Featured performance is the music of the Beatels in a special arrangement originally commissioned by Cirque du Soleil. Other composers featured will be J.S. Back, Ralph Vaugh Williams, Ron Nelson, and Daniel French. French will also guest conduct, along with Paul Asimow and Jeffrey Thompson.
Special guest soloist is Caltech alumnus Aaron Eichelberger, who will perform "Rhapsody for Euphonium" by James Curnow.
Admission to the concert is free.
