Gov. Jerry Brown has re-appointed Joseph R. Landolph, 64, of Altadena to the Carcinogen Identification Committee, where he has served since 1993, according to a press release from the governor's office.
Landolph has been associate professor of molecular microbiology, immunology and pathology and associate professor of molecular pharmacology and pharmaceutical sciences at the University of Southern California since 1987. He is a member of the University of Southern California, Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center at the Keck School of Medicine. Landolph earned a doctorate degree in chemistry from the University of California, Berkeley. This position does not require Senate confirmation and there is no compensation. Landolph is a Democrat.
