The Pasadena Mental Health Center is holding its first Fall Fundraiser this Sun., Nov. 11, at Beyond the Olive, 10 N. Raymond Ave. in old town Pasadena from 6-8 PM.
Enjoy fabulous wine, appetizers, and cooking demonstrations by a renowned chef at 6:30, 7, and 7:30.
$20 donation at the door, and 10% of all sales will go to PMHC. Photographer Brian Biery will have his photographs on display and for sale at the event, where 30% of all sales will go to PMHC.
The goal of the fundraiser is to raise $5,000 to provide free mental health services for 10 families who might not qualify for help elsewhere. 70% of the families served by PMHC are living below the poverty line and are uninsured or underinsured. PHMC is one of the few providers of affordable, non-acute mental health services in the Pasadena area for low-income individuals and families who are uninsured and do not qualify for Medi-Cal.
