Xiem Clay Center of Pasadena is hosting the 2012 Fallidays Ceramic Art Fair & Open Studio Sale,
November 16 & 17.
The show is Friday, 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm. and Saturday, 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Altadena Ceramic Artists: Heather Morrow, Tom Glavich, Sharon Garrett, and Daarina Abdus-Samad are among 40 artists participating in the annual event. At this show you will find one-of-a-kind, handcrafted items for purchase by the participating artists representing all of Southern California (you can’t get more American Made, than this).
In addition, on Saturday, there will be demonstrations their artistry and craft.
Public awareness of the local crafts scene helps sustain jobs for artists and their businesses. There is a local return on that investment: in many towns, the arts help promote economic development and tourism.
