The Altadena community is invited to an evening of celebrating the Advent/Christmas season on Saturday, December 15, 6 PM, at Altadena Baptist Church, 791 East Calaveras Street. The evening will include contributions from artists including: international Latin percussionist and producer Mayuto Correa, singer/songwriter Amy Oden, visual artist Matt Lumpkin, woodwind soloist Amanda Domen, and members of the Altadena Baptist Church Worship Arts Team.
Produced by ABC’s Director of Worship Arts Glenn Molina, the service is part of a continuing vision to promote the appreciation of the myriad of diverse traditions in music, worship, and the arts that make up our local community. Along with original musical compositions and arrangements, works of art in various mediums that commemorate the holiday season will be on display, created by members of the church. A light reception will immediately follow the service. Admission is free.
