More details have come out as Altadena detectives seek information about a shooting this morning at West Harriet Street and Casitas Avenue.
The victim -- a 25-year-old Altadena resident who was not hit -- led deputies to the site where he said a small SUV-type vehicle opened fire on him as he was driving his car.
According to an alert issued by the Altadena Sheriff Station, deputies responded to the area of Harriet St. and Lincoln Avenue this morning on a call of shots fired. (The Altadena watch commander said the call came in just before 9 AM). The victim led deputies to the intersection of Casitas Avenue and Harriet Street, where deputies found unspecified evidence that a shooting had occurred.
According to the press release, while the victim was unhurt, his car had been struck numerous times by gunfire.
