Writing from our out-of-town compound, we're going to spend the day with family and travel back Sunday. But not to say that we haven't been watching for all things Altadena:
- Home-grown: PSN has this great picture of Altadena's Casey Cousineau of Flintridge Prep making the save at a recent game against LaSalle (she had seven saves in the game, which ended in a tie). Read about "Coach Casey" in our story here.
- Hometown: Speaking of Altadenans on the move. Hometown Pasadena has an article on Citizen of the Year MIchele Zack, with bonus limerick by Altadena's Peggy Sue Davis at the recent LImerick Fest at the Altadena Ale & Wine House.
- Homebrew: And speaking of the Ale House, 2329 N. Fair Oaks Ave., there'll be one of their regular homebrew tastings today from 3-5 PM: bring your own home-made beer or taste the bounty from local nanobreweries.
