With the announcement of the line-up at the Sheriff Support Group concert series, you know that summer is coming to Altadena. One of the other summer concert series is Bob and Marie Mann's Big Hat Promotions series of cowboy and western performers.
While the Big Hat schedule is still being finalized, the Manns have announced that the first concert will be returning favorite Juni Fisher on Saturday, May 11. According to a release from Big Hat, "the historic Altadena Stables has offered their unique location for our first event this year, "A Very Special Evening with Juni Fisher". Juni is currently putting the finishing touches on a brand new CD and this award-winning singer and songwriter has chosen Altadena Stables for her new CD release party and live concert. As Juni stated, “There could not be a better setting for a concert aimed at the horse community than the Altadena Stables!”
Gates open at 6 PM, and performance starts at 7 PM. Light refreshments will be available. $25 per person cash donation requested at the door; advance reservations are required, as Juni's shows sell out early.
