ACONA looks at food resources, heritage and visioning May 28

The Altadena Coalition of Neighborhood Associations (ACONA) will next meet on May 28 at the Altadena Main Library, 600 E. Mariposa St. , from 7-8:30 PM.

The meeting will include:

1. Ellen Walton, Altadena resident:

 

• The Arroyo Food Co-op
• What resources we need to convert to drough-tolerant vegetation in Altadena
• Organic food/groceries in Altadena
•  and more!

2. Mark Goldschmidt, President, Altadena Heritage and member of the Altadena Town Council Community Standards Committee:

• Lessons from the "heritage" of Altadena, which we can use today 
• Update on Altadena Visioning Study 
• Update on Scripps Home and the new MonteCedro home 

3.  Lt. Eric Lasko: Report by Altadena Sheriffs
