Historian and archivist Tim Gregory will speak at the quarterly meeting of the Altadena Historical Society on Monday, April 22, 7:30 PM at the Altadena Community Center, 730 E. Altadena Dr.
Gregory will speak on "A Place Like No Other: The Story of the Scripps Home." While the Scripps Home is gone forever, a century's worth of residents' memorabilia, photos, scrapbooks, and ephemera was donated to the Altadena Historical Society in 2011. Archivist Gregory organized the more than 1500 documents. Please join us to hear Tim discuss the collection and the history of the home., and have an opportunity to look at some of the most significant parts of the collection.
