The Altadena Coalition of Neighborhood Associations (ACONA) meets next week Tuesday, May 28, from 7-8:30 PM at the Altadena Main Library, 600 E. Mariposa St.
The updated agenda includes:
- An update on CERT "zones" (Holly Rundburg)
- Green/Food Co-op: Ellen Walton and Arroyo Food Co-op's Mia Dunn will talk about the co-op, what resources are needed to convert to drought-tolerant vegetation in Altadena, and organic foods/groceries.
- Mark Goldschmidt, President of Altadena Heritage and a member of the town council's Community Standards District committee, and James S. Rothrock of MonteCedro will look at lessons from the heritage of Altadena, an update on the Altadena Visioning Study, and update and videos on MonteCedro.
- There will also be a report by Altadena Station Lt. Eric Lasko.
