Xiem Clay Center of Pasadena is hosting the 2013 Spring Ceramic Art Fair & Open Studio Sale, just in time for Mother’s Day, May 10 and 11. The show is Friday, 6- 9 PM. and Saturday, 10:30
AM- 4:30 PM.
Altadena ceramic artists Heather Morrow, Tom Glavich, Sharon Garrett, Pam Kisor and Daarina Abdus-Samad are among 50 ceramic artists participating in the semi-annual event.
At this show you will find one-of-a-kind, handcrafted items for purchase by the participating artists representing all of Southern California (you can’t get more American Made than this). Public awareness of the local crafts scene helps sustain jobs for artists and their businesses. There is a local return on that investment: in many towns, the arts help promote economic development and tourism.
Xiem Clay Center is located on the Wwest side of Lake Avenue just before Washington Boulevard. 1563 N. Lake Avenue, Pasadena.
