The Caltech-Occidental Concert Band and Caltech Jazz Band, directed by William Bing, are pleased to present the 33rd annual Bandorama. This free concert will place on Friday, May 17, and Saturday, May 18 at 8 PM in Caltech’s Ramo Auditorium.
Featured on the concert band half of the program will be music from "Les Miserables", "On the Town", "West Side Story", and "Candide". The jazz band will perform music from the Count Basie Library as well as more contemporary sounds from local composers.
Guest conductors will be Christine Loza and Jeffrey Thompson. Both guest conductors have played in the band for many years and will receive their Ph.D.’s from Caltech in June.
