Fancy Food Truck Friday at the Webster's complex is coming around next week, and Webster's Community Pharmacy and Webster's Fine Wines & Spirits will honor the event's sponsor, Danny's Farm.
The pharmacy and liquor store will donate 15 percent of their full day's sales (not including prescriptions) on Friday, May 10, to Danny's Farm, which provides programs and job opportunities for people with developmental disabilities. The food trucks will also donate a percentage of their sales that day.
“As hosts of Fancy Food Truck Friday, we want to honor and support our event sponsor, Danny’s Farm," said pharmacy co-owner Meredith Miller in a press release. "We invite folks to shop for Mother’s Day from our creative selection of gifts and greeting cards while supporting Danny’s Farm."
Danny’s Farm, which was formerly in Altadena, has relocated to Cal Poly Pomona, but takes its mobile petting farm to Fancy Food Truck Friday every month. New to the farm is Hagrid, the miniature horse. Children (and adults) are invited feed and play with the animals during the food truck event.
Fancy Food Truck Friday will be held Friday, May 10, from 5-9 PM at the Webster's parking lot, 2450 N. Lake Avenue.
