The National Weather Service is predicting temperatures in the 90s, and gusty winds and low humidity at least through Friday night.
The weather service has said there is an “extreme” danger of a fire starting in counties from Los Angeles to Santa Barbara on Thursday and Friday, thanks to hot temperatures, very low humidity, dry fuels, and moderate to strong Santa Ana winds. Mountains and valleys in LA and Ventura counties are under a red flag warning through Friday night.
With the high temperatures and possibility of power outages in Altadena (we've had several already this week and the high temperatures haven't hit yet), we are recommending that you keep your cell phones plugged in and charged, just in case!
