Community correspondent Tim Murphy shares these pictures of Sunday's "Porchfest," where Wreck N Sow performed on a front porch on Marengo Avenue:
Sunday's Porchfest was a huge success. Not only did Wreck 'N Sow play but many guest musicians showed up and joined the fun. It was truly a family event with almost as many kids as adults in attendance. There were grilled hot dogs/onions and the neighborhood kids sold homemade cookies and cupcakes. One guest even brought a gas powered "frozen beverage machine" in a trailer behind his bicycle. The event was scheduled to end at 7 PM but the music went on into the night with all the various musicians joining in. The neighbors didn't seem to mind....because they were there!
We owe a big thanks to the Altadena Blog for listing the event. Many of the guests said "we saw it on the 'Blog and didn't want to miss it"
