Summer Nights at the Altadena Farmers' Market continues today with some of the farmers demonstrating cooking, food preparation, and aquaponic garden techniques by the Great Lawn:
Tentative schedule is:
4:30 - 4:50 / Ja Sakrungrueng, Moua Farms - Cooking Asian Greens: Ongchoy and Yuchoy
5:00 - 5:20 / Scott Henley, Whisper Farms - Aquaponic Gardening
5:30 - 5:50 / Kristy Baltezore, Rice & Beans - Cold Barley Salad
6:00 - 6:20 / Rishi Kumar, The Growing Home - Fresh Herb Tea and Summer Herb Drying
6:30 - 6:50 / Rosa Leon, Pine Street Farms - Purslane Salad
And of course there's the usual collection of some of the region's best farmers and vendors. The Altadena Farmers' Market runs from 4-8 PM Wednesday at 600 W. Palm Street, by the Altadena Community Garden.
