- Sept. 8: Insights From a Practicing Physician: Mohinderjit Neelam, MD will share his firsthand experience of many of the best practices included in the health insurance reform law that are already in use in a model clinic.
- Sept. 15: What Obamacare Means for You: Patricia Culross, MD will demonstrate the Covered California enrollment website and answer questions about insurance options, benefits, costs, and eligibility for subsidies or tax benefits. The Covered California health exchange opens on Oct. 1.
- Sept. 22 : "I Was Sick and You Took Care of Me" (Matthew 25:36) The Rev. Barbara Anderson will lead a question and answer session discussing how to help our families, friends, and community understand and benefit from the most significant healthcare reform since Medicare.
