An Altadena man, whose frequent house parties have been subject to neighbor complaints for years, was booked for posessing stolen property Thursday.
According to a press release from the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, Freddie Spears, 43, was arrested Oct. 3 after Altadena detectives served a search warrant at the property. According to the release, detectives recovered some computer equipment that had been stolen from a Southern California school and traced to the residence at 325 E. Calavaras St.
Spears was booked at Crescenta Valley Station with a $20,000 bail.
Spears has been the subject of complaints from neighbors and visits from deputies for more than ten years for loud parties and other complaints. A neighbor said that the warrant search occurred about 7 AM Thursday morning.
