Bill Ward, who was recently seated on the Altadena Town Council for Census Tract 4612, announced today that he is moving and resigning his seat.
Ward emailed Altadenablog with a copy of this letter to Council Chair Diane Marcussen today:
Dear Madame Chair,
I write to you now to resign my position as Altadena Town Councilman representing Census Tract 4612, effective today.
I am moving to another state with my family and selling my home in Altadena, and therefore will no longer be a resident.
It was an honor to be elected by my neighbors and a privilege to serve for the short time that I did.
