The Altadena Arts Coalition is hosting its annual ArtBREAK with an Community Art Market this coming Saturday, Oct. 19, from 10 AM-5 PM on the front lawn of Eliot Middle School.
This event will be a first for Altadena and, according to Gene Stevenson of the AAC, it may possibly grow to a bi-monthly event.
The Community Art Market is for artist-vendors who value innovation, creativity and experimentation in fine art and contemporary craft objects. Original fine art, jewelry, ceramics, handmade crafts, and textile-art will be offered for sale.
In addition, the Community Arts Center will also be celebrating ARTBreak 2013 at the same time, an event featuring pop music; cool, school-jazz; hip-hop; drummers; spoken word; dancers; art workshops; demonstrations; exhibits; hands-on creative/take home projects; food; refreshments.
