Assemblymember Chris Holden, who represents the 41st Assembly District including Altadena, will present a “State of the State” update on the 2013 Legislative session at Tuesday night's meeting of the Altadena Town Council, according to a release from his office.
Holden will discuss the state budget, affordable healthcare, school funding, and improving the business climate in California.
In a related event, Alex Zucco from Holden's office will be on hand to answer questions and provide an overview of the law at the Altadena Library's presentation on the Affordable Care Act the following Monday, Oct. 21.
The Altadena Town Council meets at 7 PM Oct. 15 at the Altadena Community Center, 730 E. Altadena Drive. The library presentation will be at 7 PM the following Monday at the Altadena Library Community Room, 600 E. Mariposa Street.
